What is Yin Yoga?
The Yin Yoga Class, Ultra slow practice with multiple benefits for the mind.
A gentle but deep Yoga that uses the classic postures of Indian yoga but with a different approach: an approach of deep and total letting go. It is aimed at both beginners and more experienced people. This is a Yoga Class accessible to all. It invites you to relax and unwind. The term “yin” (which comes from the Taoist tradition) means calm and introspection. Its opposite and complementary is “yang”, which symbolizes movement and force. Yin yoga is yoga practiced at a slow pace. It involves performing postures on the ground, postures that are held for a few minutes: time during which the emphasis is placed on breathing, relaxation and sensations.
Yin Yoga circulates energy and stimulates the meridians. It helps detoxify the body, resting the body to regenerate it in depth. Yin yoga helps improve the health of joints, bones and the toning of organs, release muscular tension and reconnect with one's sensations to connect deeply with one's body.
If we do not stress (or at least not voluntarily) the muscles, we strengthen the joints, tendons, ligaments and therefore flexibility. We also circulate energies. As with meditation , we learn to listen to ourselves and therefore to know ourselves better. The goal ? Meet and face your emotions and achieve total relaxation.
What is Hatha Yoga?
The Hatha Yoga Class is ideal for gently starting the classic yoga postures.
This discipline allows you to become aware of your body, to soften it, to tone it and therefore to help it regain greater mobility, as well as to store energy, recharge and de-stress. Each posture is held for several breaths unlike other types of yoga such as vinyasa yoga, which is more physical.
Although quite soft, it remains dynamic.
It emphasizes physical postures, breathing, movement and meditation.
We aim, through the postures, to unify the body, mind and vital energy to achieve a state of balance.
It is excellent for maintaining good physical and mental health and allows you to recharge your batteries.
It can be practiced at any age.
